    X=0

    multiply both sides of the equation by 2

    x = - 5*.

    multiply 2 by - 5 to get - 10

    x = - 10x

    since - 10x contains the variable to solve for, move it to the left side of the equation by adding 10x to both sides

    x + 10x = 0

    add x and 10x to get 11x

    11x=0

    x=0
