Jim uses ribbon to make bookmarks. Jim has 9 feet of ribbon, He uses 1/3 foot of ribbon to make each bookmark.

What is the total number of bookmarks Jim can make with 9 feet of ribbon?

    The answer to this is 27 ribbons bc first u have to convert 9 feet to inches which is 12*9=108in. Then since he uses 1/3 foot of ribbon to make each book mark (u would know that 1/3 of a feet is 4 inches) so u divided 108 by 4 which is 27 ribbons! : )
