A pair of dice is rolled. What is the probability that the sum of the numbers rolled is either 8 or 12?

You take the amount of sides on the dice and that's your denominator, if its a normal dice your answer will be 2/6 because there are 6 numbers on the dice and 8 and 12 are only 2 of those numbers
