Given f (x) = x + 9 and g (x) = 5x, what is f (3) + g (-3) ?

    F (3) = 3 + 9 = 12 (just substitute the value of x in f (x))

    g (-3) = 5 x - 3 = - 15

    f (3) + g (-3) = - 15 + 12 = - 3 (A)
