We can write log (4, x) to mean "log base 4 of x". It's a good way to use shorthand notation

3*log (4, x) = 48

log (4, x) = 48/3

log (4, x) = 16

x = 4^16

x = 4,294,967,296

The last line is all one big number (I comma separated out the digits to make it more readable)
