Xavier's conclusion is not valid because Brand A and Brand B do not receive the same treatment in watering the plants. If he wishes to compare the two, such that B rand A to an area of the yard that receives full sunlight and Brand B to another area of the yard that is in partial sunlight, the watering of these brands must be the same everyday.
