How would you solve a proportion without cross multiplication? Specifically one where you cannot get the denominators or numerators the same. Take 3c/8 = 3/2c for example

    You can still cross multiply

    6c^2=24

    Divide both sides by 6

    c^2=4

    Square root both sides

    c=2
