Justin bought 6 CDs that were each the same price. Including sales tax, he paid a total of $ 66.60. Each CD had a tax of $ 0.60. What was the price of each CD before tax?

    find the total tax by multiplying 0.60 x 6 = $3.60

    subtract tax from total then divide by 6 for price of 1 CD

    66.60 - 3.60 = 63.00

    63.00 / 6 = $10.50 each
