Two angles are supplementary. one angle is 4 degrees° less than three times the other. find the measures of the angles.

    We call these angles a and b.

    and we have the sum a+b=180.

    in addition 3b-4=a

    So we have 3b-4+b=180

    or 4b=184 and at the end we have b=46, a = 134
