    Probability that a person is math phobic = 19% = 19/100

    a) the probability that both are nervous around strangers

    P (A)

    = 19/100 * 19/100

    = 361/10000

    = 0.0361

    b) The probability that both are not nervous around strangers

    P (B) = 81/100 * 81/100

    = 0.6561

    The probability that at least one person is nervous around strangers i. e. P' (B) = 1 - P (B)

    = 1 - 0.651

    = 0.3439
