At the school store, pencils and pens are sold. For every 3 pens sold there are 7 pencils sold. If 150 of these two items are sold, how many will be pencils?

    105 you would find how many sets of pens and pencils were sold (10) 150/10 15 sets of pens and pencils then multiply how many pencils are in one set 15 x 7 = 105
