Janet's monthly salary is $1,600. Her monthly job hours are 160. What is her hourly rate of pay? (do not include dollar sign or comma in answer)

    Okay. In order to do this problem, you really need to condense it down to the hour. Since this is in months we want to find the hourly rate of pay. If you take her monthly salary and divide it by the monthly job hours, you are able to find the hourly rate of pay, which is $10 an hour.
