X²+10x+41=0
using x = (-b±√b²-4ac) ½
where a = 1
b=10
c=41
x = (-10±√10²-4*1*41) ½
x=-5 ± √ (100-164)
x=-5±√ (-64) ½
x=-5±4i
x=-5+4i or - 5-4i
where i = √-1
