What is the equation of a line that has a slope of - 5 and passes through the (0,2) ?

*y=-5x

*y=-5x+2

*y = 2x-5

    General equation of line is

    y = mx + c

    m = - 5

    x = 0 and y = 2 so c = 2

    therefore the equation is

    y = - 5x + 2
