Substitute with the value of n in the equation to get m as follows:
at n=1:
2m=-6 (1) - 5=-6-5=-11
m = - 11/2
at n=2:
2m=-6 (2) - 5=-12-5=-17
m = - 17/2
at n=3:
2m=-6 (3) - 5=-18-5=-23
m = - 23/2
