pp = private plane speed

pj is 2.5 times faster than pp, therefore

A) pj = 2.5*pp

B) pj = 2*pp + 60

Substituting equation A into B

B) 2.5*pp = 2*pp + 60

.5 * pp = 60

Private Plane travels at 120 mph

Prop jet = 2.5 * private plane = 300 mph
