    Use the quadratic formula to solve it:

    Y = - 6x^2 + 100x - 180

    a = - 6

    b = 100

    c = - 180

    x = [-b + - sq root (b^2 - 4ac) ] / 2a

    x = [-100 + - sq root (10,000 - 4*-6*-180) ] / - 12

    x = [-100 + - sq root (10,000 - 4,320) ] / - 12

    x = [-100 + - sq root (5,680) ] / - 12

    x1 = (-100 + 75.3658) / - 12

    x1 = 24.6342 / - 12

    x1 = - 2.05285

    x2 = (-100 - 75.3658) / - 12

    x2 = ( - 175.3658) / - 12

    x 2 = 14.6138
