Antonio divided 6 boxes of candy bars among a group of children. There were 8 candy bars in each box. If each child received 3 candy bars, which equation and solution models how many children there were.

    Find total number of candy bars: 6 x 8

    then divide by the number of candy bars each child received: / 3

    so the formula is: (6 x 8) / 3 = 16 children
