    X = 2t-9 and y = 5 - t

    Firstly find t in term of x x = 2t - 9 - - > x + 9 = 2t - - > t = (x+9) / 2 - - > t = (1/2x) + 3.5

    Substitute t into equation y = 5 - t we get : y = 5 - (1/2x) - 3.5 - - > y = 2.5 - (1/2x)

    There, you solve for y in term of x
