A vendor sells h hot dogs and s sodas. if a hot dog costs twice as much as a soda, and if the vendor takes in a total of d dollars, how many cents does a soda cost?

    First of all, it hotdogs cost twice as much as a soda, that means that the soda is half the price of the hotdog. You multiply dollars by 100 to get the number of cents, hence the equation, 0.5h*100
