Apples lose 75% of their weight during drying. How many pounds of fresh apples do you need to pick in order to get 150 lb of dried apples?

    Since apples lose 75% of their weight, that means 150 lbs = 25% of fresh apples. 25% = 1/4, so the equation is 150 / (1/4) = 150*4 = 600 lbs
