    F (x) = x + 4

    g (x) = - 2x^2 + 3x - 1

    (f - g) (x) = f (x) - g (x) = x + 4 - (-2x^2 + 3x - 1) = x + 4 + 2x^2 - 3x + 1 = 2x^2 - 2x + 5
