Subsitution
4x+y=210
minus 4x both sides
y=210-4x
sub 210-4x for y in other equation
3x+2 (210-4x) = 195
3x+420-8x=195
-5x+420=195
minus 420 both sides
-5x=-225
divide both sides by - 5
x=45
sub back
y=210-4x
y=210-4 (45)
y=210-180
y=30
x=45
y=30
(x, y)
(45,30)

Multiply first equations by - 2 to use elimination method.
-8x-2y=-420
3x+2y=195
-5x=-225
x=45
Plug this value of x in.
3 (45) + 2y=195
135+2y=195
2y=60
y=30
Final answer: (45,30)
