    Simplifying the expression gives us:

    27x^ (3/4) * (16xy^-2) ^ (-1/4)

    =27x^ (3/4) * (2^4xy^-2) ^ (-1/4)

    =[27x^ (3/4) * x^ (-1/4) ]*[2^ (4*-1/4) ] * (y^ (-2*-1/4))

    =27x^ (1/2) * 2^-1*y^ (1/2)

    =27/2x^ (1/2) y^ (1/2)

    =27/2 (xy) ^ (1/2)

    Answer: 27/2 (xy) ^ (1/2)
