A rectangle has a length of 2 meters and a width of 40 centimeters. what is the perimeter of the rectangle?

    40 cm = 40/100 = 0.4 m

    perimeter of the rectangle = (2+0.4) * 2 = 2.4 * 2 = 4.8 meters
