You are making a kite. The frame is to be made form two pieces of balsa wood, one measuring 64 inches and the other 38 inches. If you buy 1 square yard of material, will you have enough to piece together the covering for the kite? Explain

    We know that 1 yard is 36 inches. We also know the area of the frame is 38 * 64 = 2432 square inches. If we have 1 square yard of the material, we have 1296 square inches of it. So it won't be enough because 1296 < 2432.
