Martin thinks more men have shoe sizes between 6 and 9 than between 11 1/2 and 13 because the whisker from 6 to 9 is longer than the whisker form 11 1/2 to 13. Explain why Martin is not correct.

    Martin is not correct because the length of the whiskers on a box and whisker plot do not indicate how many data values are represented within those numbers but it tells us how spread out (variability) the 25% of the data that is represented in that whisker is.
