A hotel charges a flat fee of $50 and $5.50 per person for a birthday party. Mike has no more than $100 to spend on a birthday party. What is the maximum number of people that Mike can invite without exceeding his limit?

    100-50 = 50

    50/5.50 = 9.09 so he can invite 8 people plus himself would be 9 total people
