For the following system of equations, what is the x-value of the solution?

-x + 2y = 6

6y = x + 18

    Hello:

    -x + 2y = 6 ... (1)

    6y = x + 18 ... (2)

    multip (1) by : 3

    -3x+6y=18

    6y=3x+18

    by (2) : 6y=x+18

    3x+18 = x+18

    2x=0

    x=0
