Accountant A:

f (x) = 50x

Accountant B:

g (x) = 35x + 375

f (x) = g (x) for what x value?

50x = 35x + 375

50x - 35x = 35x - 35x + 375

15x = 375

x = 25

They must work for 25 hours to receive an equal amount of money.
