In a large lecture hall there are 300 students of which 160 are male and 165 are female. If one student is selected at Radom determine the empirical probability that the student is female

    165/300 - > 55%

    This doesn't make much sense though, either the question is out of context or there is some typo because empirical probability is based on results you get from an experiment and actually doing the trial, not on what happens mathematically
