Jacque's candidates have gained 140,000 supporters.

    Explanation:

We know gains 20,000 supporters every week and loses 10,000 every 4 weeks. If so, he will gain 80,000 every 4 weeks (20,000 x 4) and will lose 10,000 every 4 weeks, resulting in gaining 70,000 every 4 weeks (80,000-10,000). Finally, all we have to do is multiply 70,000 x 2, and we get 140,000. Therefore, Jacques candidate will have gained 140,000 every 8 weeks.
