    You need to use the distance formula [square root of (x2-x1) ^2 + (y2-y1) ^2]

    square root of (0 - (-2)) ^2 + (-6-4) ^2

    square root of 2^2 + (-10) ^2

    square root of 4+100

    10.198 so it is 10.2
