Write the equation for the circle in standard form

x2 + y2 - 12x - 12y + 36 = 0

    Equation of a circle (unit circle):

    x^2+y^2=1

    x^2+y^2-12 (x+y-36) = 0

    Try and solve

    You will end up with the equation

    (x-6) ^2 + (y-6) ^2=36
