Johnny works on multiple jobs for his uncle. Johnny is paid a one-time fee of $245.00 for all of his jobs. His uncle also pays him $20.00 for each hour that he works.

After all of the jobs are complete, Johnny's uncle pays him $2245.00.

How many hours did Johnny work on all of the jobs?

    From the above problem, we can create the equation:

    P = 245 + 20 t

    where P is the total payment that Johnny receives and t is the total time he worked

    Given that P = 2245, so find for t:

    2245 = 245 + 20 t
