The scale of a porch used in a drawing is 1 in=4 ft. The actual length of the porch is 11 1/2 ft. What is the length of the porch in the drawing?

    Well if 1=4 and it’s 11 1/2 then 4+4=8in and the left over is 3/4 of an inch ... 4+4+4=12 which is too much for it to work so I think it is 8 and 3/4in
