For every 6 adults there are 5 baby camels

total number of adults and baby camels = 44

    baby camels = ?

let x is the total number of baby camels and y is the total number of adult camels and x + y = 44

for 6 adults 5 baby camels

for 12 adults 10 baby camels

and 18 adults have 15 baby camels

and for 24 adults it means there are 20 baby camels

    so y if y = 24 and x = 20 the sum is equal to 44

    20 + 24 = 44

i means there are 20 baby camels in the zoo.
