Firstly we write 1.12 in fraction form instead of decimal, therefore, it becomes: / 1 12/10 (One whole number, 12 over one hundred) Next we simplify the denominator and numerator, in this case, we divide both by four (4). Therefore we now have 1 3/25 (also described as one whole number three over twenty five) This is our final answer, the mixed fraction equals 1 3/25.
