A triangle has base 6 cm and area 42 cm^2 what is the height of the triangle

    To find the area of a triangle, the formula is

    A=bh/2

    42=6h/2

    Divide both sides by 6 giving you

    h/2=7

    Then, multiply by 2 on both sides giving you

    h=14

    The height then is 14 cm.
