What are the zeros of (x^3-5x^2+2x+8) / (x+1)

    The roots are 2 and 4

    Here is how I did it:

    it is hard to factor the numerator, so I used long division, divide the numerator by the denominator, the quotient is x^2-6x+8, which can be factor into (x-2) (x-4)
