The distance can be calculated using pythagoras theorem.
d = √Δx² + Δy²
Given from the question
(x₁, y₁) = (-1,14)
(x₂, y₂) = (0,11)
Input the numbers to the equation formula
d = √Δx² + Δy²
d = √ ((0+1) ² + (11-14) ²)
d = √ (1² + (-3) ²)
d = √ (1 + 9)
d = √10
The distance is √10 unit length
