Meg cut a pie in half. Then she cut one of the halves in half. If she cut the pie one more time using this pattern, how many pieces of pie would there be in total when she was done?

    THere would be four pieces of pie.

    Half = 2 pieces

    half and quarter=3

    half, quarter, and 2 eighths = 4
