A function, such is a mathematical collection of algebraic terms. Functions can be reflected across the x-axis by multiplying the entire function by - 1. In this case multiplying the function by - 1 leads to - 4x/2. Hence the new function is - 4x/2. Functions can also be reflected in the y-axis by replacing x with - x.
