add the ratio together in this case 2+3. then divide the number by that. in this case 60/5. with that number, in this case 12, multiply this number bu the ratio ... (12*2) : (12*3) it will give you a ratio of 24:36
2+3=5
2/5*60=12*2=24
3/5*60=12*3=36 = 24:36
