The area of the opening of a rectangular window is 143 cm^2. if the length is 2 cm more than the width. what is the width of the window?

    Area = Length x Width.

    Length = 2+Width

    (2+Width) (Width) = 143

    2Width + Width^2 = 143

    Width = 11cm

    Length = 13cm, Width = 11cm
