How can you check that you have correctly converted frequencies to relative frequencies?

    Make sure all of the percents add up to 100%.

    A relative frequency is the percentage of the individual item with regard to the whole group. Therefore, all of your percents should add up to 100% because we are working with the percent of the whole group.
