21 days is three weeks and that would be 6 x 3 = 18 inches

    The remaining 3 days would be 3/7 of 6 or 3/7 x 6/1 which is 18/7 or 2 4/7

    We will add them together 18" + 2 4/7" = 20 4/7" (twenty and four sevenths)
