2. The driver of a taxi charges $2 every minute plus a pickup fee of $3. (a) Write an expression for the total cost of a taxi ride. (b) How much does an 18-min drive cost?

    A: f (x) = 2x+3. or y=2x+3

    B: f (x) = 2 (18) + 3. y=2 (18) + 3

    2*18=36

    36+3=39

    $39 for 18 mins
