Is it possible for a line ax+by=c to lack a y-intercept? To lack an x-intercept

    No, and no. A linear equation always touches both axes, and therefore cannot lack either intercept (it always has exactly 2, one Y and one X)

    No it is not because the line is infinite it will cross one no matter how far along it may be.
