Every hour, kit is able to bike the same number of kilometers. if on his 2nd hour of biking he has gone 40 kilometers, and on his 5th hour of biking he has gone 100 kilometwrs, what is the rate at which he bikes?

    For this we will use the the equation:

    speed = distance / time

    To get speed, we need to do distance/time

    For the 2nd hour, the speed is 40/2, so 20 km/h.

    For the 5th hour, we do 100/5 = 20km/h.

    The rate at which he bikes is 20km/h.
